| There
are two well-organized trails through Santa Barbara County. They
are distinctly different. The Santa Ynez trail winds in and around
Solvang and Los Olivos. Most of the wineries are smaller and close
together. The trail is more quaint than rugged, whereas the Foxen
Canyon Trail features more ranch-style vineyards. Of course these
are just generalizations, but they help in deciding which trail to
follow.
But then you could do what we did - we took them both!
